The famous French fashion designer Catherine Malandrino premiered her book “Une Femme Francaise” describing the seductive style of French Women at the H. Bendel Flagship store on 5th Avenue. Catherine Malandrino is a designer from Grenoble France. She studied in Parisian couture houses such as Emanuel Ungaro, Louis Feraud and Et Vous. In New York she joined Diane Von Furstenberg, and had her own fashion house for 15 years in New York. Ms. Malandrino was warm, friendly and inviting to all her guests at this premier event co-hosted by her dear friend Henri Bendel. She conveyed, “to feel feminine and good about yourself is important to all women.” Catherine defines her perspective on individuality, and style as finding your own individual style and not being a slave to fashion trends. Catherine loves Paris, but feels New York is a very magical place where dreams come true. I had a wonderful experience meeting and speaking with Catherine.
