Just take time out for your health! Self examine your breasts at least once a month. Forty percent of diagnosed breast cancers are detected by women who feel a lump through self examination. Being proactive with your health means doing whatever you can to lower your chances of developing breast cancer. It also means making sure that if breast cancer does develop it is caught early, in a treatable stage. After all, with early detection and treatment, the five-year survival rate for breast cancer soars to more than 90%.
